Mera is exclusively available in Africa and includes many parts.

• It opens with a section for international organisations to highlight programmes or activities that they feel will be of interest to African health professionals;

• Then comes Africa Health from FSG Communications Ltd. In November 2007 this longstanding review journal celebrated its 30th Anniversary;

• Four times a year this is followed by African Health Sciences, published by  the Faculty of Medicine, Makerere University, Kampala, Uganda;

• Twice a year (when African Health Sciences doesn't publish) we include a special initiative called Journal Choice. In this, a respected African health professional selects articles 'from the African medical literature'.

• Twice a year we also include our own publications Diabetes International and the African Journal of Respiratory Medicine.
